To Ολλανδικό Ινστιτούτο Αθηνών παρουσιάζει  την έκθεση Dutch Variations οn Greece, μια  έκθεση σύγχρονης τέχνης, η οποία συγκεντρώνει δημιουργήματα    δεκατεσσάρων επιφανών

Ολλανδών καλλιτεχνών, που εμπνεύστηκαν από την Ελλάδα . Με το δικό τους  καλλιτεχνικό υφος και ,την προσωπικη τους σχεση με τη χώρα ,  καθένας από  τους καλλιτέχνες εμπνέεται από εκείνες Τις ιδιαίτερες        πτυχές, για τις οποίες φημίζεται η Ελλάδα: τους ανθρώπους, την  ιστορία, ΤΩ φως και το τοπίο. Αυτά τα έργα είναι  άμεσα παραδείγματα πολι1Ισμικής ανταλλαγής  ανάμεσα στην Ολλανδία και την Ελλάδα.  Υπό αυτήν την έννοια υπηρετούν τέλεια τον σκοπό του  Ολλανδικού Ινστιτούτου Αθηνών: να προωθήσει  ανταλλαγές μεταξύ Ελλάδας κοι Ολλανδίας σε Πολιτιστικό, Εκπαιδευτικό και Επιστημονικό  επίπεδο. Η 'Εκθεση διοργανώνεται με την ευκαιρία Της επετείου των δέκα χρόνων του Συλλόγου Φίλων του Ολλανδικού Ινστιτούτου Αθηνών. Τιμά, επισης, και τα πενηντα χρονια απο την συναψη του  Συμφώνου Πολιτιστικής Συνεργασίας Ολλανδίας  και Ελλάδας. ΟΙ πολιτιστικοί δεσμοί ανάμεσα στις  δύο χώρες παρουσιάζονται υποδειγματικά στη\l  έκθεση Dutch Variations οn Greece.

 The  Netherlands  Institute  at Athens presents Dutch  variations  on  Greece,  an exhibition of contemporary art.   It    brings   together artworks   of fourteen prominent  Dutch  artists  who have  been Inspired in their work  by  Greece. With their  own artistic  style  and their personal  relationship with the country each of the artists is inspired by those special  aspects for  which  Greece  is  famous: the people.   their   hjstory  the   light  and  the  landscape. These works of art are direct examples of cultural exchanges   between Holland  and  Greece.   In this  sense  they  represent   perfectly  the  goal  of the  Netherlands  Institute at  Athens:  to stimulate exchanges   between   the    two   countries    in  the fields of Culture, Education and Science. The exhibitionmarks   the  ten-year anniversary   of   the   Association  of   Friends of the  NIA.  In   addition, the exhibition commemorates the fifty-year existence of the Cultural Agreement between Greece and the   Netheriands.  The cultural ties between  these two countries are exemplified by theseDutch Variations on Greece.
